This is the first picture, in a (somewhat) long time, that I've felt satisfied with. Naturally, that is because I spent quite a sizable amount of time drawing this, and keeping myself from rushing through it as I normally would.

As some of you may be able to see in this picture; I've gone back to using a disposable ballpoint pen as my main inking tool, after a brief, experimental stint with using a (fancy-shmancy) gel pen. I guess that I'm more used to ballpoints. They're cheaper anyway.

No particular inspiration for this picture. I should add, however, that the wings were probably the most enjoyable parts of this image to draw.

Besides saying this picture is cool and such, I think it marks a great jump in your style, there is a real difference between the drawings that came before and after this one, a true improvement.

It looks really good! And I like that you only used a ball-point pen! I sketch in my lecture books, never really thought to do an actual drawing with them. :D

Ballpoint pens have always been my most common tool, and I feel familiar with them.

Thank you for the comment and praise. :thanks:
