This is the Earth deity entry for 's Elements contest.

I had fully intended on coloring this piece, but I realized when I was done inking it, that it wouldn't be possible due to the details and small size. So I'll be submitting this in greyscale.


Character Description (Because Kyrashangea will, no doubt, ask for it):

Name: Jasperos. It sounds like Jasper, which is a variant of Casper, who is one of the Biblical Maji, or Three Kings.

Dominion: Jasperos has command over the element of Earth, but prefers the purer form of metal. His favorite is Gold, thus making him the patron of merchants and alchemists. He is also a god of war, due to his affinity with metals such as iron and steel.

Personality: Jasperos has a deep sense of justice, though he usually keeps his words to himself. Instead, he chooses to deliver justice through action. It is not uncommon for Jasperos to appear and personally strike down evil-doers.

Beautiful shading as always, I admire that so much! The design is also very nicely done. The left arm is a little odd.

O.o i took another look at da journal of kyrshangea and here i see this big and bold, black and white drawing for the contest.

GrAwR this is pretty awesome my friend xD. it reminds me of old gothic architecture and the artwork on the old English seals O.o.

very nicely done, and unique style of art is what ive been lookin for. cant believe i didnt watch you O.o

This is fantastic. The lines are so bold and the detail so intricate and clear. It reminds me of older style fantasy art, that and of awesome tattoos. Not quite sure why about the latter but it's really impressive ^_^.
